About The Talk with MacAnne Consult

The Talk with MacAnne Consult is a Human Capacity, Media, and Personal Development firm headquartered in Nigeria. We exist at the intersection of education, communication, and transformation — equipping individuals, professionals, and organizations with the knowledge, skills, strategies, and platforms they need to live and lead with purpose, communicate with power, and achieve meaningful impact, influence, and income.

Founded by MacAnne Obize — Master of Ceremonies, Transformational Speaker, Author, and Media Strategist — the organization grew from a personal passion for unlocking potential through media, training, and coaching. What began as a structured personal brand has evolved into a multi-service professional consulting firm, now building toward a fully independent organization with a growing team, diverse product offerings, and a clear mandate to serve purpose-hungry individuals and forward-thinking institutions.

We serve a broad audience of adults — from young professionals finding their footing to mid-career leaders seeking clarity, from entrepreneurs building their brands to organizations seeking to develop their people. Our work spans personal development coaching, communication training, corporate events, media consulting, and strategic brand visibility — all anchored in our foundational belief that every person, regardless of their background or stage of life, deserves to live a life of impact, influence, and income.

Arm of TTWMA

Corporate Social Responsibility — Teens Connect Africa

Teens Connect Africa is the social enterprise and CSR arm of The Talk with MacAnne Consult — a distinct platform with its own identity, mission, and target audience. Where TTWMC serves adults and professionals, Teens Connect Africa exists specifically to serve teenagers and young people (ages 13–24), connecting them to mentorship, resources, and opportunities before they enter the professional world.

"
"Teens Connect Africa is not who TTWMC serves — it is how TTWMC gives back. It is our expression of responsibility to the next generation, funded by and operating within the broader organizational ecosystem."

The Mandate

To develop the potential of teenagers and young people across Africa — equipping them with the mindset, skills, and connections they need to become productive, purposeful members of their communities and society.

Key Projects & Initiatives

  • The Hangout with MacAnne — Annual community conference for teenagers in Zuba, Abuja. Running since 2017, the event has reached 150+ teenagers and resulted in 10+ direct mentorship relationships.
  • Beyond the Classroom Conference (2019) — A life-transforming conference at Federal University Lokoja with 200+ student attendees, a business idea pitching competition, and direct seed funding for student entrepreneurs.
  • Not Too Young to Make Sense (2020) — A secondary school outreach programme in partnership with Get Up Youth Africa, targeting teens in Abuja.
  • I Train Heroes / Teens Capacity Development — Community training programmes across Northcentral Nigeria.

Reach & Impact (to date)

  • 3,000+ young people reached across 4 communities in Northcentral Nigeria
  • Projects delivered across Abuja, Kogi State, Anambra State, and beyond.
  • Active programmes: The Hangout with MacAnne, Beyond the Classroom, I Train Heroes, Teens Capacity Development, Personal Development Masterclass, Not Too Young to Make Sense, PDOB

The Strategic Goal

To build Teens Connect Africa into a formally structured social enterprise with its own funding streams, partner network, and implementation team — operating as a standalone impact vehicle under the TTWMC organizational umbrella, with dedicated staff, a proposal pipeline, and measurable annual targets for reach and transformation.

Where We're Headed

Strategic Direction & Growth Goals

The Talk with MacAnne Consult is in an intentional growth phase. The decisions being made today — about structure, team, products, and systems — are designed to build an organization that is sustainable, scalable, and mission-aligned for the long term.

Where We Are Going

Horizon 1

2025 — Now

Build organizational structure: team, roles, systems, and documented processes. Launch the website. Activate all programmes with dedicated pages and registration flows. Publish and implement the Brand Identity Guide. Develop the proposals and partnerships pipeline. Formalize Teens Connect Africa's project calendar.

Horizon 2

2026 — Next

Scale programme delivery — increase PDOB cohort sizes, launch new programmes, and explore hybrid/online learning infrastructure. Grow the client base for brand visibility and media consulting services. Establish formal partnerships with corporate, NGO, and government institutions. Grow the team with planned hires in Business Development and Finance.

Horizon 3

2027+ — Future

Position TTWMC as Africa's reference organization for human capacity development and purposeful leadership. Publish new training resources, digital courses, and a content subscription model. Establish Teens Connect Africa as a formally funded social enterprise with its own board and leadership. Explore regional expansion and international speaking and training engagements.

Our Distinctive Advantage

What Makes Us Different

We combine the credibility of a certified Master of Ceremonies with the depth of a transformational coaching practice — a rare pairing that makes us uniquely positioned to serve both event and development markets.

Our founder brings lived experience of purpose discovery, career clarity, and platform building — not just theory. She has walked the journey she teaches.

We serve the whole person across multiple touchpoints — from a podcast episode to a coaching programme to an event hosting engagement — creating a comprehensive ecosystem of support rather than a single transaction.

Our licensed partnership with Fordax Academy for public speaking training gives us institutional credibility and curriculum quality in a market where communication skills are in high demand.

Our CSR arm, Teens Connect Africa, adds a social impact dimension that resonates with grant-makers, institutional partners, and values-aligned clients.
